Training through formative plans 2010

Official Notification 2010

By means of this award announcement, the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC)promotes the award of subsidies to run training measures based on training plans in priority professional areas for 2010.

This training includes:

1. Line 1 measures: Professionalising training measures in professional areas associated with the Folder of Specialities and Professional Qualification Catalogue effective for 2010 with a view to covering the training needs of different sectors.
2. Line 2 measures: Cross-disciplinary training measures for different professional areas designed to provide working people with professional skills that may be transferred to different professional spheres and other specific training measures.

Considerations

• Applications are based on training plans integrated into training measures.
• A training plan is defined as a set of training measures in the same professional area and same line, and is run in a specific region.
• The training measures are each of the training units in which a training speciality has been structured.
• The institution will include all the training plans for which it applies on a single application.
• Each training measure must feature between 15 (minimum) and 20 (maximum) students. A maximum number of 15 students may be subsidised for each training plan measure.
• The training measures must start with at least 15 students, except for specialities addressed to the disabled that may start with 10, and will feature, at the most, the number of students determined in its training programme.

Beneficiary institutions

The company company organizations will be able to enter the foreseen subsidies in this call and union-related and entities linked to these, and the rest of public or private centers or entities of training, proved to impart training addressed to the obtaining of certificates of professionalism and to impart training not addressed to the obtaining of certificates of professionalism, registered in the corresponding register of centers and of entities of training and which fulfill the requirements established in the article 5 of the Order TRE/338/2008, of 4 July .

In the case of public entities ascribed to local entities, only the entities that can not be beneficiaries for these subsidies through other calls specific to training of offer for the same type of entities will be able to be presented.

Training addressees

The training measures are addressed principally to unemployed working people in search of employment, without detriment to the participation of active workers.

Participation of the beneficiaries on the Programme of Protection for Unemployment and Integration (PRODI) will be prioritised, provided they have the profile required to take the training measure.

Unemployed working people will make up at least 60% of the students who start the training measure.

For the purpose of this award, the following will be considered working students with special integration difficulties:

• People over 50 years old.
• Disabled workers.
• The unemployed without paid work in the 6 months prior to the start of the training measure.
• Women in trades in which they are underrepresented.
• Under-25s seeking their first job.
• People at risk of social exclusion.
• Low-qualified workers.

Funding

80.000.000 euros

This line of subsidy is co-funded by the European Social Fund.

Start and completion of the training measures

Two starting periods are established for the measures:

• First period: measures to start in March, April, May, June and July 2010.
• Second period: measures to start in September, October, November and December 2010.

The formative actions of line 1 will be able to start at most on the 31st December 2010. The maximum date of completion will be on the 31st from March 2011.

The formative actions of line 2 will be able to start at most the on 1 December 2010. The maximum date of completion will be on the 31st from December 2010.

Regulation

• Resolution TRE/3705/2009, of the 23 December, which opens the anticipated call of the subsidies for the realization of training of offer actions through formative plans in professional priority areas for year 2010.
