Young Talent, company of the future

Official notification for 2008

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya is opening a new official notification funded by up to 1.000.000 euros of the Young Talent, Company with Future programme. This programme, which is co-funded by the European Social Fund, aims to favour stabilisation of young people in the labour market, improving their professional situation as well as business competitiveness.

For each transformation from a temporary contract or one for a specific period of time of a worker aged under 30, to an indefinite full-time contract, the company will receive a subsidy of 2,000 euros. In the case in which the person has a disability equal to or above 33%, the subsidy will be 2,500 euros.

Beneficiaries

Small, medium-sized or large companies may apply for the subsidy - including self-employed workers - and workers' cooperatives or cooperatives which employ workers as worker partners or as employees.

Target groups

Workers aged less than 30.

Co-funded by the European Social Fund.

Regulation

• Resolution TRE/2480/2008, of the 25th of July through which a new official notification is opened for the presentation of applications for 2008 for the awarding of subsidies for the creation and maintenance of jobs for young people in accordance with Order TRE/471/2007, of the 5th of December .
