Occupation and local development agents (AODL)

Official notification of prologues 2010

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC), through this official notification, promotes the prologue for hiring local employment and development officers (AODL) to put new energy into, promote and undertake in cooperation with other social and economic agents of the region, programmes and measures that favour the economic promotion in its area of influence, seeking a growing sustainable economic generator of employment.

General information

The AODLs are technical staff with higher further or higher educational qualifications, who work full-time on a local development project promoted by local entities or by entities dependent on or linked to the local administration.

The amount of the subsidy is up to 80% of the total labour costs of the local employment and development officer, with a maximum of 27,045.55 euros per year for each subsidised contract, which will be awarded on a yearly basis.

The awarding of the subsidy is conditioned by that they sufficiently accredit on the one hand, the results achieved, duly quantified, in relation to those forecast in the work plan of the local employment and development officer and, on the other hand, those they aim to achieve with the new work plan presented, in the framework of the Action Plan for local or supra-local economic development passed.

Beneficiary entities

Local entities from Catalonia, their autonomous bodies and entities with responsibility in local development and promotion of employment, which have approved AODLs in the previous year.

Funding

Budget for the official announcement: 11,000,000 euros.
Co-funded by the European Social Fund.

Presentation of applications

A sole time period is established that begins of the 14 May 2010 and ends on the 15 of September 2010.

Period of execution

The prologues of the subsidy for hiring local employment and development officers can be started, once the official notification is open, from the day after the presentation of the application (with the exceptional nature of the transitory provision of resolution TRE/1487/2010, of the 6 May) until the 31 December 2010 and will last a maximum of one year.
